Introduction
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and functional Cahoots Workshop is a shared responsibility of all users. Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of tools and equipment, and provides a safe and enjoyable working environment for everyone.
Users Responsibilities
- Return all tools and equipment to their correct storage locations after use
- Clean up your workspace and any areas you have used, leaving them tidy for the next user
- Dispose of waste materials as indicated
- Do not monopolise shared resources or workspaces for extended periods if others require them
- Report any damaged or broken tools, equipment, or parts of the workshop to Cahoots staff immediately
- Signage in the workshop details how to make these reports
- Do not use tools or equipment in a manner that may cause damage or accelerate wear and tear
- Actively participate in general tidiness and cleanliness of the workshop
Cahoots Responsibilities
- Provide clear and designated storage locations for all tools and equipment
- Ensure appropriate waste disposal facilities are indicated available for use
- Respond promptly to reports of damaged or broken tools and equipment
- Arrange for the repair or replacement of damaged items as necessary
- Provide guidance and training on proper tool use and maintenance practices
- Oversee the general cleanliness and organisation of the workshop
