Our understanding of exclusion, marginalisation, and intersectionality dictates that transgender and non-binary people must be included in women’s organisations. This resource pack explains why this is true and provides guidance and ready-to-use materials so that your organisation can ensure it is appropriately supporting these most marginalised groups.

Who is this resource for?

This resource pack was initially created for Women’s Workshops; spaces that strive to provide access to tools and practical skills to women. However, the materials here apply equally well to other women’s spaces, advocacy, and representative groups.

The following documents explain why trans and non-binary inclusivity is essential in women’s organisations. We understand that this inclusivity might be new to your organisation, and so we also provide ready-to-use materials, policies, and conversation guides to help you implement it.

An open letter

This open letter calls on women’s workshops to make the move to publicly showing their support for trans and non-binary people.
